The picture shown below is MIZHAVU, which is a musical instrument, used by Kunchan Nambiar. Now the Mizhavu is placed (as shown in the picture) in the Kalithattu of Ambalapuzha Sreekrishna Swamy Temple premises. Those who visit the temple which is situated about 15 kilometres from Alappuzha KSRTC Bus Stand, can have look in to this musical instrument. Now a days Mizhavu is replaced by some other musical instrument and hence we can't be able to see the instrument in the stage programmes now.
