Gold Idol in country boat

As part of Para festival, Ezhunnellippu of Lord Poornathrayeesa going to the western side (i.e. to the other side of the river) of the temple in a country boat, which is a system followed from years back. Earlier, before the constuction the iron bridge, there was a separate path in the river for crossing the elephants and other accopmpanied devotees to the other side. Now though the elephants and devotees are being used the iron bridge, which is having more than 100 years old, to cross the river, Ezhunnellippu carrying the gold idol of  Lord Poornathrayeesa is still continuing thorugh the country boat.
